Just got back from Freeport and unloaded ... 1 a.m. central time. To quote Cake, "how can we afford our rock and roll lifestyle?" It is a way of life ... the persistent tinnitus, the blisters, the late night crowd at Pizza Hut. It is something you have to embrace, participate in, become one with, and all the other cliches. We did have a good time in Freeport ... the opening band was from Crossroads Church, and they were very good, a well polished praise band that was tight and fun to listen to. The highlight of the evening was unveiling our new lights (rice-tastic). they really add to the whole experience. Would have hoped for a bigger crowd, but the ones that were there were attentive and into the music most of the time. Best dance contest yet for Saved Me ... so good that we gave away two CDs.

It was also a record-breaking day on myspace .... 279 plays in the day as of now. Crazy! We love you all ... even those of you who hate us.

Time for sleep. See you in two weeks at the One Voice Festival.

Had a great time with the m28 A-list crew today ... we took in a Brewers game in Milwaukee (former drummer MC Puddles was even there!), went to the lakehouse studio techno dance party and cookout, but the best part was watching Andy light himself on fire with the bottle rockets. Gotta love him, but some days you gotta wonder what's in his skull. :)

Can't even begin to explain how wonderful it was to see the hand of God at work in the trip we took to Colorado this past week. Emily, Andy and I had a great time leading worship, and the scenery was fantsastic, but the real beauty was seeing the Spirit touch the lives of so many of the youth and adults. If I had a chance to share the gospel with any of you personally there, please know you changed my life. Watching you come to know the truth of God's grace and love was astounding. Crying with you was a blessing. Love you all, and we'll do it again soon.
